Ferraro Choi’s new architectural office was designed to fill a long-vacated portion of the 5th floor of the historic six-story IBM Building in Ward Centre, Honolulu, Hawaii. Ferraro Choi's environmental and sustainable design goal for its office was to provide an efficient, comfortable and healthy environment for its staff and to promote recycling, waste reduction, and energy efficiency. For its sustainable design achievements, the Office of Ferraro Choi achieved LEED® Platinum Certification for Commercial Interiors Version 2009 from the United States Green Building Council and the 2011 NAIOP Hawaii Kukulu Hale Renovation Award.
