SENIOR PRODUCTION JOB CAPTAIN: Immediate opening for a Senior Production Job Captain with minimum 8 to 10 years of CADD drafting experience. Thorough knowledge of architectural drafting, detailing, building materials and methods, building codes, and construction required. Strong interest in CAD technologies, customization and computer software desirable. Must be team oriented and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities include:
Work with architects, interns, project designers, and consultants to develop a full set of construction documents and specifications for bidding and construction for medium and large scale commercial and institutional projects;
Provide supervision and quality-control review of drafting group;
Work closely with other less experienced CAD drafters and architectural interns to enhance production techniques and procedures;
May assist in initial project investigations and design of projects from a production standpoint.
Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, Illustrator or other CAD technologies, Microsoft Word and Excel highly desirable.
Architectural degree required, licensure not required but desirable.
SENIOR INTERIOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER: Immediate opening for a Senior Interior Architectural Designer
with a minimum of 7 years experience in Commercial and Institutional
Interiors. Experience in Sustainable Design highly preferred. Project
management, client contact/retention and leadership skills required.
MS (Microsoft) Office and AutoCAD experience required.
ARCHITECT/PROJECT MANAGER:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a job captain. Ability to coordinate
and produce a complete construction document set is essential. Experience
in sustainable design, construction administration processes as
well as experience in managing a minimum five person architectural
team preferred. MS Office and AutoCAD experience required.
INTERIOR ARCHITECT: Minimum 2 years experience in commercial interiors. Space planning
experience, finish selections, and familiarity with systems furniture
preferred. Architectural graduate with interests in commercial and
institutional interiors highly preferred. MS Office
and AutoCAD experience required.
ENTRY LEVEL INTERN ARCHITECT:
Recent architectural graduate with enthusiasm to learn and be a
part of the Ferraro Choi team. Some previous architectural work
experience preferred but not mandatory. MS Office and AutoCAD experience
preferred.
